Inside Qogita: SourceSheets Visits the European Wholesale Marketplace in Amsterdam

What is Qogita?

For those unfamiliar with the platform, Qogita is a European B2B wholesale marketplace focused primarily on health, beauty, personal care and household products.

Founded in 2021, Qogita set out to make wholesale procurement simpler for small and medium-sized businesses. Instead of buyers having to establish relationships with multiple individual wholesalers, compare separate stock lists and navigate different minimum order requirements, Qogita brings products from a large network of vetted suppliers together in one marketplace.

Today, the platform gives businesses access to products from more than 500 vetted suppliers, covering thousands of brands and hundreds of thousands of products.

For Amazon sellers, ecommerce businesses and independent retailers, the concept is particularly interesting. Buyers can compare wholesale availability and pricing across multiple suppliers while sourcing through a single platform.

Arriving at Qogita's Amsterdam Headquarters

We arrived at the Qogita offices at around 10am, where the day began with introductions, refreshments and, fittingly for Amsterdam, plenty of coffee and stroopwafels.

The team gave us a brief presentation outlining what to expect from the day before taking us on a tour of the office.

Qogita's headquarters are bright, modern and welcoming, sitting right in the heart of Amsterdam. During the tour, we had the opportunity to meet members of several teams and get a better understanding of the people working behind the platform.

One thing that stood out immediately was the scale of the operation compared with how calm the office felt.

The main workspace is open plan, with smaller glass meeting rooms and individual work pods dotted around the office for calls and focused work. Despite Qogita's growth, the atmosphere still felt surprisingly close-knit.

It had many of the hallmarks of a modern European scale-up: open, efficient and collaborative, without feeling overly corporate.

There was even the occasional office dog wandering around.

Discussing the Future of Marketplace Selling in 2026

The remainder of the morning was spent discussing the changing landscape of marketplace and ecommerce selling in 2026.

For us at SourceSheets, this was one of the most interesting parts of the day.

Amazon sellers and ecommerce businesses have experienced significant changes over the past few years. Competition has increased, sourcing methods have evolved and sellers are increasingly looking beyond traditional online and retail arbitrage towards wholesale, suppliers and brands as they scale.

We discussed where marketplace selling could be heading next, some of the challenges facing smaller businesses and the technology that could make sourcing and procurement easier over the coming years.

There were plenty of interesting ideas and potential developments discussed throughout the morning.

Naturally, there are some things we cannot share just yet, but it was encouraging to see how much thought is going into the future of the Qogita platform.

We are looking forward to seeing how those ideas develop.

How Qogita Vets Its Wholesale Suppliers

After lunch, we headed back into the office for a closer look at some of Qogita's internal processes.

One particularly interesting topic was supplier verification and vetting.

Trust is understandably an important consideration when sourcing wholesale inventory, particularly for Amazon sellers who may later need to demonstrate the authenticity and provenance of their products.

Qogita's supplier vetting process has historically attracted its fair share of questions from buyers, so it was useful to learn more about how the process works behind the scenes and how it has developed as the company has grown.

The process has been tightened considerably over the last few years, reflecting Qogita's continued focus on supplier quality, authenticity and trust across its marketplace.

It was useful to see that there is considerably more happening behind the platform than a buyer would normally see when simply browsing the Qogita catalogue.

Meeting the Product and Supply Teams

The rest of the afternoon was spent speaking with members of Qogita's product and supply teams.

These conversations gave us a better understanding of how different parts of the business work together, from onboarding and managing suppliers through to developing the technology buyers interact with.

The affiliates attending the event also took part in filming testimonials and discussing their own experiences with the platform.

In between sessions, there was time to explore the office, take a few photographs and speak with the other affiliates attending the event.

Having a number of businesses involved in different areas of ecommerce and Amazon selling in the same room also made for some interesting conversations outside the scheduled sessions.

Qogita and the Future of Wholesale Sourcing

One of our biggest takeaways from the visit was how quickly digital wholesale sourcing is evolving.

Traditional wholesale often involves contacting suppliers individually, applying for trade accounts, requesting price lists and manually comparing products across multiple spreadsheets or websites.

Platforms such as Qogita are attempting to consolidate much of that process.

For Amazon FBA sellers in particular, this could become increasingly important.

As businesses grow beyond traditional arbitrage, being able to identify products from established wholesalers and suppliers while efficiently analysing whether those products present viable resale opportunities becomes significantly more valuable.

That is also an area we are particularly interested in at SourceSheets.

Our goal is to make it easier for sellers to discover and analyse sourcing opportunities across retailers, wholesalers, suppliers and brands, giving businesses the data they need to make informed purchasing decisions.

The continued growth of wholesale marketplaces such as Qogita is therefore something we will be following closely.

Our Thoughts on Qogita's First Affiliates Day

Overall, we'd say the first Qogita Affiliates Day was a great success.

It was enjoyable, informative and gave us a much better understanding of the people, processes and technology behind one of Europe's growing wholesale marketplaces.

More importantly, there were plenty of interesting conversations about where ecommerce, wholesale sourcing and marketplace selling could be heading over the next few years.

We hope this is the first of many Affiliates Days as Qogita continues to scale and develop.

A huge thank you to everyone at Qogita for inviting SourceSheets to Amsterdam and for giving us so much of their time throughout the day.

We thoroughly enjoyed the visit and look forward to seeing what comes next.
